Projection Lens for Bombing Teacher Mk.III

Aldis Anastigmat 1.4 Inch (approx. 33mm) Focus F2 Projection Lens for Bombing Teacher Mk.III [ Aldis Brothers was a maker of lenses and other photographic equipment, in the Sparkhill area of Birmingham, England, from 1901, when H.L Aldis left the Dallmeyer company.] Aldis well known maker of projection lens. This military lens was used during WW2 for RAF training purposes. It has A (Crown) M markings A.M. Ref.No. 9/557 Lens Serial N0 : 185192 Cosmetic condition is not bad for its age (just shows some wears / tears) No aperture and focussing mount (front/rear lens elements can be unscrewed off) It is uncoated lens. It seems that glasses are hazy and dusty, clean up will come back its former glory. Sample image was taken by Sony Nex Camera , I reckon this lens probably may cover FF sensor of the new Sony A7/7R Highly collectable a part from using the lens in this modern digital world it is also the piece of war aviation history.
